The Friends of the Bay Suite has two private bedrooms, a bathroom and a common room. Every room has a window and a ceiling light. A hallway makes room for the refrigerator, microwave oven and a little extra storage. There is a small sitting area outside. The rooms are small and comfortable, all on the first floor and away from the street. Both bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning, a super comfy queen bed and are supplied with fresh linens, four pillows, quilt, blanket, end table, lamps, powered USB on alarm clock for phone charger (bring your cable), strong and free WiFi signal, and WiFi Roku TV.
The bathroom is supplied with 5 fresh towels, 5 washcloths, 2 hand towels, 2 bathmats, 2 soaps, 2 shampoos, 2 conditioners-extra towels available upon request.
The common room is supplied with a coffee station and AB’s printed guide book with great local info!
Free street parking for cars is available but not on Toledo Ave and not always assured. While we can offer paid private off-site auto parking (please inquire if needed), we recommend saving money and leaving your car on the mainland because we are close to everything.
Check-in is at 3pm and check out is at 11 am. We require a minimum two night stay. We have good guest guarantees and a no-party strict 9pm-9am quiet time for the comfort of our guests and neighbors.
While we have sound dampened extensively, it is a historic old home and sound can travel between some areas. So, by all means go whoop it up downtown but please keep noise and loud conversation away.
The Friends of the Bay can accommodate up to 5 guests. Two day minimum.
